Loosely based on the short story 'The Flying Machine' by P. Chiara.

A man wonders where the soul goes when a loved one is lost and a moment in life ends. Alone in his study, observing himself in the mirror and by candlelight, he embarks on an inner journey with his soul. Where does the soul of those who feel abandoned, of those who die in life, go? Passing through the dark, crossing the threshold, as in a lucid dream, he climbs the stairs of his childhood home, to find himself afterwards transmigrating back to his studio. He observes himself from the outside and tries to understand the spasms of the heart. Suffering is a mystery, like the sphere of a prism that leads the heart to abandon itself to being.
